FAQ

Tickets

01.

You can purchase tickets for individual events through our 'Events' page. Each event can be booked separately according to your preferences. Simply navigate to the 'Events' section and select the activities you wish to attend.

All tickets are issued on a personal basis and are non-transferable. Your ticket will be assigned to your name upon purchase.

Currently, no registration is required for the meetings. This may be subject to change, so please check back for updates.

Hotels

02.

Accommodation is not included in the event tickets. However, we recommend these options in Brussels:

    • The Hoxton Brussels (4*) - Special discount available with code CVa71

  • Ibis Brussels off Grand-Place (3*) Additionally, we recommend searching for accommodations near Brussels Central Station on booking.com for convenient access to most event locations.

Transport

03.

There are several convenient ways to reach Brussels:

    • By Train: Direct connections to Brussels Central Station, located in the city center
    • By Plane: Brussels National Airport (recommended, ±10 min from city) with easy train access to the center, or Brussels South Airport (±1 hour from city) with bus connections
    • By Car: Direct access to Brussels city center via major highways

Parking options are available throughout the city center, and we recommend choosing a parking facility near your selected hotel. Your hotel can provide specific parking recommendations for their location.

Most events are within walking distance of the recommended hotels and Brussels city center. For the Gala dinner, which takes place outside the city center at Afrikapaleis in Tervuren, we recommend using Uber for transportation.

In Brussels, ride-hailing apps like Uber, Bolt, and regular taxis are readily available. We recommend using Uber particularly for the Gala event.

Locations

04.

All event locations and their complete addresses are listed on our Events page. Most events take place in Brussels city center and are within walking distance from the recommended hotels, except for the Gala dinner which takes place in Tervuren
We accept both credit and debit cards for all payments. You can pay on-site at each event. This applies to both local and international participants with no additional requirements.

Drinks

Each ticketed event includes different food and beverage offerings:

  • Get Together Party: Belgian specialties and premium drinks

Official
meetings

06.

The banner exchange will take place on Saturday, May 3rd, after lunch at Chaloupe d'Or (Grote Markt 24, 1000 Brussels). All (international)guests are welcome to participate in the exchange, which will be conducted in an informal setting. Simply bring your banners to the lunch venue, and the exchange will begin after the meal.

What
to wear

07.

Each event has its own dress code:

  • Friday Get Together Party: Tabler casual (polo)

  • Saturday AGM Meeting: Suit & tie

  • Saturday Gala: Black tie

  • Sunday Farewell Brunch: Casual

Brussels in early May typically experiences mild spring weather, with average temperatures between 11-19°C (52-66°F). Rain showers are common in Belgium, so we recommend bringing a light rain jacket or umbrella. All our events are held indoors except for the Manneken Pis gathering, but there are bars nearby for shelter if needed.

Tours

08.

Yes! An exciting pretour is being organized by the team, featuring visits to Belgium's finest beer brewers (arguably the world's best).
